STS "Akogare" arrived in Busan, Korea safely

The ship once berthed at Izuhara Port on Tsushima Island in Kyushu on August 13, completed the CIQ procedures in the morning yesterday and finally arrived in Busan, Korea at 12:30 hours today. Official Welcome Ceremony will be held at 10:30 am tomorrow at the wharf of Korean Maritime University.

Here we would like to introduce the media staff on board that covered the voyage to Busan. From Japan, Mr. Isao Tsuchiya (photo: second from left) of the Yomiuri Shimbun Osaka Head Office was on board and released three articles on August 12, 13 and 14 in its evening edition. Again the Yomiuri will carry some article tomorrow morning regarding the arrival of "Akogare" to Busan.

Another media was Pusan Broadcasting Corporation and the members were Mr. Park Chul Hoon (reporter, second from right), Mr. Shin Dong Hee (cameraman, right)) and Mr. Yi Kang Hyun (audio man). It is scheduled to produce a special program of about 40 minutes.
